Overlander Ski Club at Stake Lake

Stake Lake offers some of the best cross-country skiing in BC and is a winter family-favourite in Kamloops. Ski over 60 km of expertly groomed classic and skate trails, just 20 minutes southwest of Kamloops. Take in the fresh air while winding through snow-covered pines, around the lake, and over rolling hills.

This ski area welcomes dogs on 5 km of dedicated dog-friendly trails. Stake Lake also offers night skiing, with 6.5km of lit trails (see what we did there?) to enjoy. Try to visit before 11:30am or after 1:30pm to avoid the rush, or enjoy having the trails to yourself during the week.

Rentals are available on a first-come first-served basis and start at $8/youth.
