On this spot in history
Located at the corner of Seymour Street West and First Avenue, The Old Courthouse is a jewel in Kamloops's architectural heritage. Built-in the early 1900s, this Edwardian Baroque-style building is a testament to the city's historical role as a provincial legal hub and a commercial center in the Interior of British Columbia. Maintained by the City of Kamloops, it houses the Kamloops Courthouse Gallery and continues to be a prominent local landmark, preserving a slice of British justice tradition within its original courtroom.
