Lisa Strachan and Jordyn Gronskei attended an in person trade update from Destination British Columbia’s in market team from Germany, Mexico, UK, China and Australia. They touched on how travel is climbing due to pent up demand, even with interest rates increasing, and let us know to expect to see an increase in demand from each market. They also stated that there is an increase in demand for sustainable accommodations and products. Travellers are searching for sustainable experiences to add to their itineraries, so we are planning to cater to that by creating sustainable itinerary suggestions as well as sustainable experiences in and around Kamloops. Please get in touch with us to ensure we are up to date on all of your organization’s sustainable initiatives.
