Celebrate Afro-Caribbean roots and heritage at the ACSA Sankofa Soirée - a night of music, dance, and culture!
ACSA are thrilled to present their second annual Black History Month: Sankofa Soirée! The evening will feature incredible local and student performers, delicious food, and music by BADBOI D from Vancouver! There is a strict dress code: Formal and traditional wear, so dig out your gowns, suits, and cultural attire, it's time to dress to impress!
Sankofa (pronounced: SAHN-koh-fah)—Comes from the Akan people of Ghana and Côte D’Ivoire. It is an Akan Adinkra symbol that translates from Twi to “to go back and get it”. It encourages individuals to learn from the past to improve the future and to celebrate and honour your culture and history!
Each ticket comes with one complementary drink ticket and dinner, and one (1) entry into the raffle draw!
