Running for over 22 years, the Kamloops Children’s Arts Festival is a fun-filled, creative day of artistic, musical and theatrical activities and performances for children ages 2 to 12. The entire day is FREE for children and their families.

This spectacular festival is back for 2024! This year’s festival will feature all those loved activities from previous years – workshops, storytelling, magic, and performances from local groups! It is going to be a festival filled with fun.

Check out this year’s festival day happening September 21st from 10 am to 4pm at Riverside Park and festival workshops happening September 20th.

Thanks to our supporters, the Children’s Arts Festival is 100% free to the public. This means we see a wide cross-section of the community, including children and families who may not otherwise be able to afford to participate in extracurricular arts activities.

Participating in the arts can have a tremendous impact on developmental growth. Learning artistic skills strengthens problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. It’s also a lot of fun – maybe too much fun for some!
