The crisp morning air presents the perfect time to hit the links and what better way to have a laugh or two with your loved one than comparing swings, shoes, and sand skills. Kamloops is home to 8 championship 18-hole golf courses highlighting diverse landscapes and elevation changes. Take in the views of Kamloops lake with a round at top-ranked course Tobiano Golf or try out the golf boards at the historic Kamloops Golf and Country Club. The dress code for golf in Kamloops is relaxed and the vibe is friendly no matter where you decide to tee it up.

After a morning of six irons and sand traps, sip along the Thompson Valley wine region, which is home to Kamloops award-winning wineries. Sample a Riesling at Harper’s Trail Winery, dine al fresco with a blueberry wine at Kamloops’ largest winery Monte Creek Ranch Winery, explore the gardens with a Chardonnay at Privato Vineyard and Winery, or become family at the boutique Sagewood Winery. Sit back and relax while TasteFull Excursions or DiVine Tours does the driving for a tour of BC’s newest wine region.

evening

With your palate still dancing from the delights of the Kamloops Wine Trail, consider a casual carb-filled dinner at the locally owned BOLD Pizzeria or international cuisine at Jacob's Noodle & Cutlet. Or switch it up and indulge in a tasty craft brew at one of 5 craft breweries in Kamloops.

If you're considering one last adventure for the day, pick up an E-bike from Electraride and explore downtown Kamloops and Riverside park with a battery boost while you lightly pedal.

day three

Stroll hand in hand as you explore Victoria Street and Kamloops' downtown. Grab a coffee from a local cafe, and go on a self-guided back alley art mural tour or poke around the local shops and boutiques.

afternoon

With many lakes in the Kamloops area, you would be remiss to not explore the picturesque waters. Get out on Kamloops Lake via kayak, motorboat, or wade in from the beach at Bruker Marina and Beach Club. Heffley Lake, located 25 minutes north of Kamloops, is home to Paddle Surfit, owned by Bodie Shandro, and Canada’s 1st professionally certified SUP instructor. Rent a board, take a lesson, and take in the scenic mountainside views of the area. 

If you prefer a roam through the grasslands, visit Campbell Hills Guest Ranch to experience a horseback trail ride through the hills of Barnhartvale. Or, feed your soul with the Mills family at Erin Valley Riding Stables and experience some of the best riding trails that BC has to offer.
