Who we are
The BOLD Street Team and Volunteer Visitor Ambassadors work remotely at popular locations throughout Kamloops to provide visitors and locals with information about Kamloops and resources to enhance your time in the city. Our team is comprised of tourism ambassadors with a passion for local attractions, special events, outdoor adventures, and more!

Whether you’re planning a trip or are already in Kamloops, the BOLD Street Team and Volunteer Visitor Ambassadors can answer your questions, provide you with guidance, support your event, and more! Keep an eye out for the Tourism Kamloops Team with our branded Jeep and pop-up tourism tent at local hotspots all year round!
How we support locals
The BOLD Street Team and Volunteer Visitor Ambassadors are available year-round to ensure industry partners have relevant insight and tools they need to be able to create remarkable experiences for guests. Even outside of Kamloops’ summer season, our team pops up at local events to support locals and visitors alike with information and conversation. Our team is experienced, diverse, and can bring a new perspective to your views on the city. We’re also here to listen and understand how our locals feel and work with locals to further develop Kamloops local offerings.

Hours of operation
Weekdays from 8:30am - 4:30pm by phone and online only.
Keep an eye out for the Tourism Kamloops Jeep and pop-up tourism tent at local hotspots all year round for in-person support!
Visitor Centre - CLOSED
The Kamloops Visitor Centre permanently closed in June of 2020. All outdoor facilities at the original Visitor Centre location (EV chargers, sani-dump station, dog run, and picnic benches) are city-run, and may or may not be available at the time of your visit. For more information, contact the City of Kamloops’ Civic Operations Department at 250-828-3461. Local information and public washrooms are available at Aberdeen Mall, located across the street from the original Visitor Centre address, at 1320 Trans-Canada Hwy.
