SKIING & SNOWBOARDING IN KAMLOOPS

Perfect alpine powder glades

Features
As a valley nestled at the base of mountains, Kamloops itself receives relatively mild winters, while surrounding mountains are laden with heavy snowfall. In Kamloops you’ll find the convenience, affordability and best of all, quality of our snow conditions and weather patterns are perfect for your next ski and snowboard outing. Whether this entails a 2-week expedition or a jovial weekend getaway Kamloops-style, you’ll find yourself wanting to return again and again!

At the spectacular Sun Peaks Resort there is unique Winch Cat grooming on black diamond runs. This process — which involves using a Winch Cat to push the snow back up the run to create a perfect corduroy carpet and even snow pack from top to bottom — is only prevalent at very few Canadian ski resorts!
