POWER OF SPORT TOUR® KAMLOOPS BRITISH COLUMBIA


 

Sport experts and resources from across the province will be in Kamloops November 15 – 23 for the Power of Sport Tour®. The Tournament Capital of Canada will be infused with workshops, seminars, presentations and demonstrations aimed to promote, teach and encourage involvement in amateur sport.


Sport BC is working with the leaders of the Kamloops sport community to identify the needs of the Kamloops region. Sport BC has also rallied the skills and expertise of 16 Provincial Sport Organizations to develop new community programs and school sessions encouraging broader public participation in sport, increased sport awareness, encourage physical activity, and overall sport development.


Sport BC is a not-for-profit organization built on the belief of creating and sustaining healthy communities. For more than 40 years of service, Sport BC continues its unique approach to nurturing and growing organized amateur sport for the benefit of all British Columbians. Sport BC has the capability to reach audiences at the community, regional, provincial, and national levels – leveraging organized amateur sport from the ground up. Sport BC represents more than 80 member organizations including 65 Provincial Sport Organizations.
