Where to Play Disc Golf in Kamloops

Disc golf, a variation of traditional ball golf, is one of the fastest growing sports in terms of popularity in Kamloops and is a sport many age groups can play. A dedicated group of volunteers and enthusiasts make up the Kamloops Disc Golf Club which is responsible for maintaining and setting up the courses throughout Kamloops as well as organizing tournaments.

Here are the recommended courses to try:

>Rose Hill: this is BC's longest disc golf course. The course features 18 holes with both Pro and Am tee pads. This course can also be re-configured in the more challenging and extended 19 hole Rocky Mountain Challenge configuration.

>Thompson Rivers University (TRU): this course is the newest of the courses and is located behind the Trades and Technology Building at TRU.

For those of you looking to get out during the winter months, there are still opportunities to play disc golf. Bundle up nice and warm and get out there!
