CANOEING, KAYAKING, AND RAFTING IN KAMLOOPS

Gliding along

The variations in land elevations and abundance of lakes and rivers in Kamloops and surrounding areas provide great paddling opportunities. There is a full range of grades for testing your skills from the gentle flow of the South Thompson to the whitewaters of Adams River.  Make it a day trip or get friends or family together and test the waters (and your skills) for a few days and camp along the shores.

Places To Go

The Thompson River is the perfect place to warm up on. It runs right through the City so no need to go very far at all. Head out to Murtle Lake or Clearwater-Azure Lakes in Wells Gray Park for some more adventure and gorgeous scenery, then when your ready, head out on the vast Fraser River or Adams River. Make it a guided trip or try it yourself!

Looks fun doesnt it
