Animal Encounters at the BC Wildlife Park
Be prepared for a major expedition in experiencing indigenous wildlife of Super Natural British Columbia, where there is more species diversity than any other province in Canada! The Park features over 65 species of wildlife spread out over 50 hectares. Every member of the family will enjoy seeing cougars, moose, birds of prey, snakes, grizzly bears, mountain goats, and timber wolves.

Animal Encounters - get up close and learn about the animals with the daily Animal Encounters Festival starting June 27 through September 6. A great opportunity to meet the animals with the BC Wildlife Park staff.
Activities for Kids at the BC Wildlife Park

In the summer, kids will enjoy the Splash Park and year round everyone will love the Wildlife Miniature Express Train, Farm Animal Petting Area and the Zippity Zoo Zone Playground. Parties, meetings and events can be held at the BC Wildlife Park too.
Wildlife Encounters

BC Wildlife Park
Park visitors have the rare opportunity to interact with and learn about otherwise seldom seen BC wildlife through Wildlife Encounters, Interpretive Talks, and easy to understand Interactive Displays. Schedule a visit around feeding time and visit with park interpreters to get the most out of this "wild" experience.
Visit the impressive new Amphitheatre where spectacular themed events are held for special occasions. Learn more about the five eco-discovery zones and gain face-to-face encounters for each region at the Eco-Inquiry Gallery in the new Discovery Centre.
Tour Groups at the BC Wildlife Park
The BC Wildlife Park is conveniently located alongside the Trans Canada Highway with free ample parking for coaches and tour buses.
The BC Wildlife Park is a beautiful lunch venue where groups can enjoy lunch near the Gardens while watching the grizzly bear. The Visitor Centre includes the "Naturally Yours" Gift Shop, the Blue Heron Café and farm fresh ice cream cones. A visit to the Conservation Centre and Herpetarium Exhibit that features local amphibians and reptiles including Western Rattlesnakes is a must.

The "Naturally Yours" Gift Shop features wonderful wildlife theme textiles, toys, convenience items and gifts that will be sure to delight all nature lovers.
Wildlights
Picture hundreds of thousands of twinkling little lights while bon fires crackle and people sip steaming cups of hot cocoa or apple cider. Wildlights is an annual celebration at the BC Wildlife Park where families and friends gather to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and the many lights. Check out the miniature train too ... this is a MUST event for the Christmas season.
Visitors can dare enter the new and larger Giant Maze, take a trip around the park on the Wildlife Express miniature train, enjoy a wagon ride to the North Pole and get entertained by Uncle Chris the Clown who performs nightly.
