Events at the BC Wildlife Park

Animal Encounters - get up close and learn about the animals with the daily Animal Encounters Festival starting June 27 through September 6. A great opportunity to meet the animals with the BC Wildlife Park staff.

Boo at the Zoo - The park hosts a Halloween extravaganza called Boo at the Zoo. The event has a number of attractions including a Kid's Haunted House, Spooky Maze, trick or treat stations, the Spook Train and a haunted graveyard. Highlights of the evening will be the wolf feeding at 5:30 pm, Estry's Kid's MAgic Show in the amphitheatre at 6:30 pm and a pyrotechnics and fireworks show at 7:30 pm. Visitors are encouraged to dress up and bring their carved pumpkins masterpieces with them in order to participate in the best costume and pre-carved pumpkin contest.

Wildlights - Picture hundreds of thousands of twinkling little lights while bon fires crackle and people sip steaming cups of hot cocoa or apple cider. Wildlights is an annual celebration at the BC Wildlife Park where families and friends gather to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and the many lights. Check out the miniature train too ... this is a MUST event for the Christmas season. Visitors can dare enter the new and larger Giant Maze, take a trip around the park on the Wildlife Express miniature train, enjoy a wagon ride to the North Pole and get entertained by Uncle Chris the Clown who performs nightly.
